October 17, 2014 : Bovada Staff
The marquee game of Week 7 is the Sunday night matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos. There’s no question the teams could meet again at Super Bowl XLIX in Glendale, Arizona. Denver is a 7-point favorite at Bovada, and there will be live betting available.

Denver is the +400 favorite to win the Super Bowl and +150 AFC favorite. San Francisco is +900 to win the Super Bowl and +450 to win the NFC, behind Seattle (+275).
Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning could officially cement his status as the greatest regular-season quarterback in NFL history with three touchdown passes. Manning currently has 506 in his Hall of Fame career, just two behind the record of Brett Favre.
Manning has thrown at least three touchdown passes in four of Denver’s five games this season. However, the 49ers have the No. 2 pass defense in the NFL and have given up a total of two touchdown passes in their past three games – all wins.
Bovada is offering props on Manning’s
potential record-breaker, as they did for his 500th touchdown pass. He is -180 to reach his 509th record breaking touchdown pass against the 49ers. No is listed at +150. A prop bet on which player will catch Manning’s record breaking touchdown pass is also available; Julius Thomas is the +200 favorite. Thomas leads the NFL with nine touchdown catches this season and is on pace to shatter the league record. He also caught Manning’s 500th. Thomas even caught Manning’s 51st touchdown pass of last season, which broke Tom Brady’s single-season record. Demaryius Thomas (+300), Emmanuel Sanders (+500), Wes Welker (+500) and any other player (+150) round out the options. Finally, the 509th touchdown pass has an over/under of 12.5 yards in distance. Just for a point of comparison, Manning’s three touchdown passes last week against the Jets were 1, 22 and 4 yards.
That Broncos offense will catch a break because 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis is expected to sit out with a toe injury. The Pro Bowler was hurt in Monday night’s win in St. Louis. That leaves San Francisco without its top three linebackers, along with NaVorro Bowman (injured) and Aldon Smith (suspended).
DeMarco Murray Props
Another game with live betting on Sunday is Giants at Cowboys. Dallas is a 7-point favorite at Bovada. Running back DeMarco Murray has been one of the most impressive players in the league this year. Murray is +350 to win the MVP award.
Murray leads the NFL by a very wide margin with 785 yards rushing. That’s the sixth-most by any running back since the 1970 merger through a team’s first six games. Murray has reached the century mark in all six and would set an NFL record to start a season by doing so again vs. the Giants. New York has the No. 18 run defense and allowed the Eagles 203 yards on the ground last week.
Murray is the biggest reason that Dallas is tied for the NFL’s best record at 5-1 when the Cowboys had a projected season wins total of 7.5 back in the preseason. Special props are available for Murray this week as well. Murray breaking Hall of Famer Barry Sanders’ record of 14 straight 100-yard games is a yes-only prop at +2000. And that Murray breaks Eric Dickerson’s single-season record of 2,105 yards is yes-only at +2500. Murray is on pace for 2,093.
