However with more NFL parody and division games pushed later in the regular season, Week 16 has lined up some of the best matchups all year. You can play armchair head coach with Bovada Live.
The Dallas Cowboys, deadlocked in a three-way tie for the division lead of the NFC East, kickoff super Sunday versus the New Orleans Saints.
Any bettor that sees the Saints on the schedule should think shootout. The Saints are dead last in total yards against and need quarterback Drew Brees to give them a chance to stay in games. Expect winning wagers that offer pass completions, successful scoring drives and big plays for both the Cowboys and Saints Sunday morning. With the Cowboys opening as one-point favorites, oddsmakers are expecting a nail biter. The ‘Boys are desperate to get into the playoffs while the Saints are eager to play spoiler.
Later in the afternoon another NFC East squad gets their shot at taking the division lead. The New York Giants are at the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16, and despite that the Ravens already clinched don’t expect them to allow the Giants to take an easy win. The Ravens opened as a one-point underdog at home and are coming off an embarrassing loss to the Denver Broncos.

Sunday evening get ready for the hardest hitting matchup of the season: The San Francisco 49ers at the Seattle Seahawks. We’re talking the number one and two defenses in points against, and the number two and three rushing offenses. It doesn’t get any more smash mouth than that. Oddsmakers are flipping a coin on who will win, opening the game as a pick. With the matchup offering two young QBs, it will come down to the signal caller who avoids costly turnovers. Both are coming off a four touchdown Week 15 so they’re coming in hot, but they haven’t touched a D like this since they last faced each other in Week 7.
There was one difference in that meeting: Colin Kaepernick wasn’t the QB for the Niners, it was Alex Smith. Smith had a pedestrian 140 yards, one TD and one interception in the Niners 13-6 win. It could be another low scoring game with the offensive game plan focused on RB Marshawn Lynch for Seattle, and RB Frank Gore for San Francisco. Both rushed for 100 yards in their Week 7 meeting. Ultra conservative is the way to go when betting on this game with Bovada Live.
