NFL Live: Bears, Saints, Giants Play Host Sunday
If you haven’t feasted enough the Bovada Sportsbook has delivered three live betting matchups to sink your teeth into.
Thanksgiving went down Thursday with a taste of football, but the real meal is Sunday. Three marquee matchups are not only available against the spread, but you can wager on every play, every snap with Bovada Live Betting.
This weekend the afternoon matchups are headlined by a division battle that is sure to bring the hits, Minnesota Vikings at the Chicago Bears.
With the Vikings boasting the best running back in football, and Bears starting quarterback Jay Cutler making a return from a concussion, we expect a lot of runs from both teams. The edge for effective rushing goes to the Vikings, RB Adrian Peterson has monster runs of 60-plus three weeks in a row. If you’re going to wager on a RB to
Though we expect the Vikings front four to get plenty of QB hurries and sacks, the turnover battle should go to Chicago. The Bears feast on turnovers, led by its cornerback Charles Tillman. Tillman has an astonishing seven forced fumbles, while the team leads the league in scoring defense. With a shaky Christian Ponder under center for Minnesota we expect at least one profitable turnover live wager to pay off for bettors.
The second NFL live matchup has been stuffed with drama (like a turkey … of course) all week. San Francisco 49ers at the New Orleans Saints.
Niners second-year QB Colin Kaepernick was supposed to backup starter Alex Smith for one game, but he was so impressive on Monday Night Football that he’s been given the starting job. A switch to Kaepernick at QB makes the play selection a little more difficult to predict. However we expect more explosive plays, especially since the Saints have such a porous defense. New Orleans ranks 32nd and 31st respectively versus the run and pass respectively.
The toughest live wagers will be when the Saints are on offense. New Orleans has proven capable of moving the ball on anyone. However, the Niners are the best D in the league, ranking first in points against (13.4). We would watch how Saints QB Drew Brees moves the ball early before betting on their drives.
Sunday Night Football, our third live wager, is a monster. The Green Bay Packers visit the New York Giants to avenge their loss in the 2011-12 NFC Divisional Game. The Giants are at home this time not the Packers, while the Pack are the red hot team not the Giants. There are still serious questions about Giants QB Eli Manning’s arm and decision making leading into this contest, therefore we expect the Giants to run the ball more than usual. With RB Ahmad Bradshaw yet to practice this week expect RB Andre Brown to get the bulk of the carries.
On Green Bay’s side the offense should go in the opposite direction: More passing, less running. Green Bay has struggled to move the ball on the ground all season, Packers
QB Aaron Rodgers should be slinging all afternoon against New York’s shoddy secondary.
That’s the NFL live betting marquee matchups for Week 12. If Thanksgiving dinner didn’t leave you stuffed we know these exciting matchups will.
